winter is here. Spentall day inside the truck looking for the cure. No power to the fuse block. I have the wiring diag and it all goes back to A5 connection. Is this a relay? all fuses are good just no power anywhere. Does one of the relays on the pass side power this group? Is there an easy way to power these up? Its snowing now--In ariz. Any help would be great. Thanks, Ed

Welcome to the Cherokee Forum!
If you don't have power to the fuse terminals, keep going up stream. I don't know what schematic your looking at, but A5 could be a fusible link, so check those, they're over by the battery and connect to your starter soleniod. To get you by for now you could run a jumper wire to the dead terminals from the battery, just make sure you have a fuse in there so you don't start frying working components or worst, starting a fire. Use a big wire too, because that blower eats amps
The fuse on the pass. side HVAC box is for your A/C. If you do a search for relay locations on an XJ you'll see. Always search first, Google is your friend.

Those ones on the pass side engine bay are for your fuel pump, power off latch relay, A/C compressor and O2 sensor heater relay. The starter relay sits alone closest to the battery and looks like a little metal box with a mess of wire coming off of it, that where the fusible links are. Look for burnt or broken wires. Could be a bad ground too.
