Hey, Yes your fan should be ok. There should be power to the fan when the key is on. (my friend forgets to do this alot of the times) lol. OK 1. check your fuse panel by your feet and then under the hood. 2. Take a big wire from the positive on the battery to the plug on the back of the switch and see if the fan comes on. Let me know what happens. Best of luck.

The fuses by the battery there may be a big black cover over it. There are alot of relays there For the wire andy like 18ga or 16ga its just a test wire. You can make the test wire to stay with some work to have a fan

I meant what color wire on the plug is supposed to be hot, not what and how to run a test wire or permanent new hot wire. Also I have noticed any fuse box like that but I'll look again.

On the color i am not for sure. Is there any way that the plug is not that clean and take the test light and test the fuse block by the feet there is a heater fuse and see if it has power. I am on vacation and my friend is not picking up the phone. So I will have to call my friend. So he can look at it for me.

the heater fuse has power and I've scraped the contacts on the plug.

So that little box on the firewall is supposed to be the fuses? Theres no cover over my relays either.

At the top the litter box is the fan
Uhm, what?

I'll just go look around better, thanks.

Its just a mock up to give you a idea were to look. If you have power to the fuse then you dont have to look under the hood. Did you check the on both sides of were the fuse goes like put a jumper wire in there and check the switch plug again. The power on the plug should be the top spot of the plug.

hmm unless im blind and gone stupid, theres no fuse box under my hood.

as for the heater I'll run a test wire from the batt to the top wire of the plug and see if that makes it work, if it does I might just throw a fuse inline and make that permanent.
