Heater core swapping

And *I* am not a happy camper....

AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

OK, I feel a BIT better. Not really.

Got the dash out, sorta. I can work around it. I was HOPING to be able to just pull the front covers away and pull the heater core, but NO!!!!

Can't get the heater control cable loose, can't get ONE little screw (its on the backside?

I guess I need to remove the fan, and the two nuts from behind the engine afterall... NUTS!!!

Not working on it any more this evening or I'll BREAK something! You know, this REALLY makes me appreciate my 1990 Ranger for this task...

Job is done, Pain In My ***! I hope to never do this job again...

But, pumps out plenty of heat... Daughter will be pleased. Which is good. She doesn't know it yet, but SHE is putting teh console back...
