heater core replacement
I just bought a 97 cherokee sport and knew it needed a heater core when i got it. I have the dash tore apart and i just wanted to make sure that i had to disconnect the a/c lines also or is there a way around it?

its a major pain in the a$$. completely remove dash, remove heater lines and ac lines from engine comp along firewall. and the access is there. be careful when you remove dash cause the wiring is delicate. i yanked an unknown wire somewhere now im dealing with an electrical nightmare. also to save you time and money i went to walmart bought a 5 dollar bottle of clr drained the heater cor filled it with clr leat sit for 15 min flushed with air and water refilled and wala hot heat withen 5 mion of jeep idleing in 30 degree weather
