In short, i kept having a musty smell in my jeep, i thought it was the wet tower in the dog kennel in the back after doing water apprehensions last week. Being fed up with the smell i took the carpet out and intended to roll in a bed liner cause the carpet was rough. The smell was immediately gone and i drove to a buddies house. I turned the vehicle off and a few minutes later went back to get my wallet, antifreeze was dripping from the heater core onto the floor board and there was a puddle on the floor board by this time. I dont need heat till probably november here, so i was gonna simply connect the two heater lines, one going to the core and one coming from the core. I was gonna do this at the point they both connect to the firewall on the engine side. My question is, will i loose my a/c since its one combined unit under the dash. in the past with other vehicles this was never even a question for me, but reading the chiltons manual i saw it was one unit. before i tried i wanted yalls opinion.
