Default can i do this (bypass the heater)

hi all, my heater core is leaking. can i just bypass my heater, .. took a heater core out of my mates wreck and was a right pain. or am i doing somthing wrong.. this is what i took out....

afaik, heater core is a form of pipe , so yes you can bypass it. You get No heat , though

cheers... not worried about no heat, dont have carpet so gets warm as inside anyways....

looking at your picture and that removed chunk of equipment - I only hope I'll never have to deal with this.

i might have taken it out wrong, but was the only way i could see how it came out of this wreck which was still a pain.......

That is so different from the left hand drive version. Still looks like a lot of disassembly though (I'm just getting mine back together!)...

mate , ya havent got any pics of your unit out???? yep thats a solid unit in pic..theres bolts you cant get ..only reason that unit came out is cause no engine in the old girl...hate to think what it would be like with engine in.....
