Good luck! Use plastic baggies for screws for each different area and take a ton of pictures

Keep any and all small children with virgin ears at a far distance. You will be using words that are not in the dictionary.

Is there a video for this? I am so curious why this is such a nightmare. Most people on forums say nightmare jobs are a piece of cake, so this must truly be a week-long nightmare for a beginner type.

It actually isnt all that bad. I had the job done in 7 hours and that includes stopping for lunch and 2 trips to the parts store. I am by no means a mechanic. I ended up replacing the heater core, blower motor, blower resistor and added the 2 hoses for the heater core. But, mine's a '95, so it was a matter of getting the center console out, the dash lose on the passenger side, then removing the blower motor, then dropping the evap box and then the heater core practically fell out. Lots of luck.

I put a little $2 tube or alumaseal in my coolant years ago. All's well. I just had smell and fogging, no drip. It worked fine in a couple others as well. The small tube, Alumiseal brand. Nothing else, (like gummy bars leak)

I personally know 2 people who used Bar's Leak to fix their leaking head gasket. Stuff actually works.

Could also use the pepper trick. I have to use that on my semi truck couple times.

I'm just talking specifically about the Alumiseal brand powder, (small tube, not the bottle), for a pinhole leak. You can even start with 1/2 a tube, just a few tablespoons, and run a few days and see. Too much can settle in places with low flow, bad news.

And yea! Years ago I'd put pepper in my old ******* any day I was giong out to cut firewood. (worked).

I wouldn't use the other stuff unless maybe in an emergency to get home.

Last year A pair of brothers said they both had success with the "newer" carbon fiber "treatment" for their 0331's $60 process. No comment!
