heater control valve direction help
just installed a new heater control valve.
which hose connects to the section with the arrow? either the hose from the thermostat or what? i installed it the same way as the old one...and everything seems to be working fine so far...but another post here shows a complete different installation.
what would be a symptom of me messing up the hoses on the heater control valve.
sorry no pics..but its cold and dark outside

perfect! so how do i tell if its actuating? what does that arrow mean? my temp is creeping passed 210 a few times..to about 220 which is unusual for my jeep. i'm going to put new hoses in this weekend so if it happens i need to invert this part...
just read online that a four port heater control valve will work either way...but the arrow imprint should be connected to the hose at thermostat housing. that is not how i installed it. i will switch it this weekend.
