alright, today we changed the heater coil in my 2000 cherokee
the problem is that my dad could not get a pipe that is under the hood (goes through firewall to coil) disconnected
he cut it and decided to fix it later
on the pipe there is a large round part that is where the pipe connects the new heater coil pipe... we dont know how to remove it
it spins but does not come off....
does anybody know how to remove it?
-thanks
more detailed pic:
need to remove blue and put into where the red part is...

I don't believe those are heater core connections.....pretty sure they are the hi & low pressure a/c refrigerat lines. Heater core and evap r 2 different things......both located under/behind the dash.

Those are the AC lines, and there are tools to remove the quick disconnects.
Check it out here. >->http://www.jeepair.com/info/how-to-u...t-tools-57.php

IIRC, liquid line and dryer r about $100....check the auto parts stores. U especially need the clips that secure/hold the quick connects together when re-connecting. Are they still there?
