I put a new thermo in to start but now the only time my je ep heats up is when im on the freeway other then that itscold In side ii need heat!!! Any help

What temp thermostat did you install? Did you get all the air out of the cooling system?

Was it installed correctly?

It could be that you got a bad unit from the box.

If you have an open cooling system (radiator has cap), Top off the radiator, turn the heat all the way up, start engine let idle with cap off, watch level in radiator, fill as needed, youll see a noticble, drop when the thermostat opens top off radiator, overflow bottle, replace cap.

Good explination. Im on my phone and feelin lazy. lol

If you have access to the funnel that screws onto the rad cap it'll make the process easier and less messy.

Wait a sec I think my switch is stuck on cool I wwas on the free way this morning and I turned on my heat well it was still coming out cool . I just got this jeep 2 weeks ago and the heater worked on the way home well last week end I turned on the ac to see if it worked and it did well noe my heat dont work aftet . So how dose that selector switch work?
