Default Heat shield ok for winter ops?

While spending 2 months troubleshooting a misfire code, i picked up a Design Engineering Heat shield kit that covers exh manifold, fuel rail, and injectors. I was waiting to install when i change out my injectors next week. Then I started thinking, are there any downsides to installing that kit for Northeast winter driving? Will fuel be too cold and not atomize properly. I dont think i ever had a vapor lock due to hot rail or injectors, but I was looking to anything that might have caused my misfire issues...see #2 misfire in the modified section. Should I wait until spring to install the heatshield or do people run them in winter climates with no issues
