Heads

Will the head off of a '96 I6 work on a '92 I6? Thanks in advanced for the help.

Yes.

The only difference MAY be that the 92 head is drilled and tapped at the driver's side rear corner for the temp sending unit and the 96 not. Not a huge deal even if it isn't.

thanks, just one more question, if the '96 isnt drilled and tapped, where do i put the temp sending unit?

In the new thermostat housing you're gonna need, or the one you snag from the 96 engine.
