Headliner?
Anybody ever fiberglass epoxy their headliner, sand and paint it. I did a search but didn't see anything. I am just wondering how it turned out. I had a honda that had a liner that didn't have cloth but was a rubber material and it never sagged or ripped. If this hasn't worked out what has other than reclothing it? I don't like the bare metal its to hot in the summer and the wafer look isn't great either.

Ive seen sagging headliners cut and pulled tight, then fiberglassed. It will look funny if its an off road rig with a heavy smooth show car headliner(picture candy orange paint lol) honestly though if its sagging like mine carefully removing it and removing the clothe wont be hard. Then just spray glue it and pick up some light clothe from a joann fabric kinda place and cut and attach new clothe and bolt back up. you can put faux leather or something simple and cheap. Ive seen people use flags spray glued up(not the american flag) you could have fun with it and use all sorts of fabric stuff. I kinda wanna use 2/3 pirate flags and redo mine.

Done the recloth on a few of my older vehicles was a pain in the back side and I always wish I woulda done something else. If I can come up with the money I guess I'll epoxy it paint it and post the results.

I suppose but considering some headliners run 200-400 dollars its worth it in my mind.

It was really easy to do just scraped off the foam stuff then used the aerosol bed liner to do a few coats and then went over it in some left over herculiner. Gives it a tough look I'll post pictures when i get to the computer.
