I recently noticed the passenger side of my engine is starting to get a little "wet" where the head meets the block. Should I be concerned about this? Jeep runs great and has ~124k on it. Oil and coolant are full, no mixing. Pics below

almost every jeep I've seen with a fair amount of miles does this. the engines being long the block flexes and with the thinness on the passenger side due to the valvetrain it will eventually leak.

I've got a lot of this too. I'm thinking about replacing the valve cover gasket next spring, would that clear this up?

Replace the valve cover with a fel pro plastic one and you are GTG.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like it's just another quirk that these 4.0 engines have. I'll get the valve cover gasket and see if it helps at all!

Like said above, make sure to get a Felpro rubber gasket. Don't cheap out and go with a cork or paper gasket or you'll find yourself replacing it again in the near future.
