headlights upgrade
i currently have sylvania white light bulbs they are the original lights but they are dim as hell and i can only see about 15-20
feet in front of me. this is dangerous and causes me to drive slower during the night. the street lights are brighter. how can i upgrade my lights to get them as bright as they can be but still legal? i have little to no knowledge on what i should do. i also want to do the work myself.

please i know its a dead horse but i have no prior knowledge to even know what people are even talking about, i don't know what HIDS or harnesses even are,i like making my own threads so its easier to view,and learn what is a putco harness? is that supposed to be the best? im just looking for some bright *** reliable lights under 180$ and i want to be able to understand.
