Headlights on, radio off. Dimmer wire?
Well, when I turn on my headlights or side marker lights on, my radio turns off. I pulled it out and took a look at the wires and the orange one, which I believe is the dimmer one, is paired with a blue one and they, together, splice into one blue wire which leads to the radio. I have uploaded a photo to help clarify my less than satisfactory explanation
How should I reconfigure this? I have very limited experience in things like this.
Thanks

Try to locate the owners manual for your aftermarket headunit. Do a Google on the headunit model number, followed by the letters pdf. That should get you a hit. We can then match that up tp the stock wiring which is all over this forum. Search on radio wiring and you should get a hit. I do not see any other way to do this right. My guess is that other wires are probably wrong too.

Clip the orange wire, you do not need to hook the dimmer circuit up with an aftermarket deck. The blue wire is an amp remote turn on wire, no need for it unless you have an amp.
