headlight knob?

Default headlight ****?

when i pull the **** the lights dont go on. i gotta pull it all the way out and have to jiggle it to get em to stay on. and if the jeep shakes they go off. Anyone ever had this problem?

Sounds like the switch is worn to much to be making a good contact. Never saw that before though.

Eh the switch is a $10 peice and not hard to change, just take off the lower part of the dash and the gauge cluster bezel. Look at the new switch there is a button on the top that you can push down and the **** and rod will slide all the way out

Just be careful when you unplug it my plug was pretty fragile. I put a tiewrap on it once I replaced the switch a few years back.

its basically a big plug, just take it out. it has a copper contact that drags along the base, if you bend it down so it makes a better contact and sand it a bit with some fine sand paper it should do the trick. of just buy a new one at autozone for next to nothing.
