I have troubles though. It's like my highbeams are stuck on and if I put the high beams on the are the only ones on but with the lows on the highs are too. WTF??

Help.

Alright for anyone who cares. Below is my Cibie's w/55/60 osram bulbs and upgraded 5 mains, which made a difference on my stock sealed beams. Not to shaby by any means.

Now the time of the evening was different 9p for the above and 7:15p for below and you can still see a difference.

So I made it 2 months with no issues then one day, no worky, I cleaned up the grounds to no avail. I can't have a critical componet like my headlamps on vacation, that could potentially be detrimental to my Jeep. So I just pluged back into the stock harness for the time being.

I should have known better, I'm always saying to Do it Right and Do it Once, and the one time I cheese out it comes back to bite me in the a$$.

Any suggestions as to how to get the junk working again?

Might as well bump this up to the top. Did the upgrade this past week. Fantastic results. Ditched most of that stupid yellow plastic sheath for real polyethylene split loom though

I just covered the yellow with split loom. I'm not a big fan of yellow in the first place!

What lamps are you using?

I was able to tuck the yellow loom out of the way and it's not visible until you pop the hood

Not sure if the sizing changed since you did it cruiser54 but you wouldn't cover this yellow crap unless you used 3/4" loom or larger. Once I saw how mangled it was from being folded in the package and that it would be visible from the front I cut it all and used 1/4" stuff. I've fastened it along the original headlight wiring in front of the rad. Looks factory!

Just using Sylvania XtraVision H6054s. I don't see any reason to upgrade until one burns out

Good news. I was able to use 1/2" split loom.

Absolutely. I can actually see the light thrown by the lowbeams when driving around the city now. Previously they would be washed out by the street lights.

Modified factory headlight harness by pulling out head light wires from plug on drivers side to lights. Added relays and ran the harness. First time it was clean even rewired my factory fogs. Second time on my comanche the wiring itself is cleaner but the relays didn't have blocks this time. Other wise it is worth it!

Remember that headlights dim over time, and should be replaced before they burn out.

Fine then... I'll replace them when they dim :P They're only a few months old.
