If i was you i would upgrade from the renix head to a newer HO style and a better intake. worth the effort.

The 7120 off a 91-95 motor is the best head,it is a direct bolt on in regards to the block, but the intake and exhaust ports are larger,so your intake and exhaust will be restrictive to flow,I have a ho motor from a 91 and I do not get the power but it runs very good and is fine for me.

Yes,the only issue I had was the intake or exhaust, cannot remeber right now,I had to round out one of the bolt holes to make it fit,but it was minor and works good.
Unless you plan on inlarging the intake and exhaust ports on your manifolds you will not be gaining much, thye restrict the flow.

It would work except it exhaust back at about a 45 degree angle, yours exhaust straight down. You would have to redo that part of your exhaust, and the 91 and above does not have an egr valve, you would have to weld in a connector to install your egr tube.
