Ok I've been reading about how people are putting headers on there jeep but is it really worth it. I've got a 93 XJ with a 4.0L. Yes my stock manifold is cracked and I'd like to have some valued opinions about this. Along with having the cracked manifold on it I was given a stock manifold from a 97 XJ from a friend. I'm wondering what is better and if the header is the better what size primaries are best, I've seen 1.5 and 1''5/8.Thanks in advance.

Get the header it is less restrictive wich means better heat disapation so it will be way less prone to cracking. And its a cool upgrade especialy if you get polished stainless steele.
i put on the ehaust manifold with the flex hose to prevent cracking got it off quadratec its actually pretty nice i dont see it being very restrictive i have no experience with an actual header on the 4.0 but they usually do help
