Default head studs

Can you reuse head studs, got a 99 sport with blown head gasket and wasn't sure if I could reuse the studs

Yes. The FSM states that head bolts can be re-used 1 time only.

I dont recall is the FSM said that or not but I was in a time crunch before a trip for college. I reused the head bolts and 30k later its fine

From the FSM
CAUTION: Engine cylinder head bolts should be
reused only once. Replace the head bolts if they
were used before or if they have a paint dab on the
top of the bolt.

i quote pg 9-16 in the 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee SM under installation:
CAUTION: Engine cylinder head bolts should be reused only once. Replace the head bolts if they were used before or if they have a paint dab on the top of the bolt.
