Head gasket question

Just called the dealer for the head bolts, they want $35.00 for each of the bolt stud combo ones, that's insane for one bolt

Just called a couple dealers found out the bolts are non yield so we don't have to replace them every time

The manual I have states every other time. Also states to paint them if you reuse them to show that they have been reused.

i did mine a few months ago an i got them from adavance an i think with my discount it came out to aboit 27 bucks

Yea, I saw that somewhere also. They say you can reuse them once. I might have "reused" 100 of them, anyway no issues...that I'm aware of. I'm talking chevy, ford, toyota. and my 2.5, once....
