Question Having Trouble With My Clutch

My 1995 Cherokee doesn't seem to want to shift. I will be in a parking spot and I will attempt to back out, but when I try to put it into reverse, it grinds, obviously I immediately stop trying to shift it. I have to do this about three to four times before it will fully go into reverse. I seem to have the same problems when downshifting also. It does not seem to have a problem shifting up, unless I am fully stopped, then it does not like to shift into first to take off, I have to pump the clutch almost and also have to really push on the clutch. I am not very technically inclined, so if you could help, that would be awesome. Thanks

The transmission fluid was just replaced about a month ago, so I don't imagine it's that, if it is the clutch master or the slave, how much would it be to replace it?
