Have a Question about Track bar bracket
I have a rubicon track bar bracket that is moving some when turning, almost sure it is making a popping noise.I have checked and tightened the bolts,Well, what I was going to do is drill a hole down toward the bottom of the bracket through the frame and install a 1/2 inch grade 8 bolt and put a piece of plate steel or flat metal on the back side of the frame to help keep frame stronger.was wondering if anyone else has had this happen or has tried doing this.

this is a common occurence on vehicles with larger tires
the "fix" i have always used is just lay a quick stitch weld (maybe an inch or so) along the bottom front of the bracket.
if you ever need to remove the bracket you just unbolt it and bend it back and forth a few times and it will break the weld.
