i bought the 3m wheel but it really didnt do much for me. a little elbow action with some napa glass cleaner, or soap, and the plastic blade did the trick for me. i did my superduty that way to and they both turned out nice. acually the jeep turned out better, and its 2 years older than the ford.

i got a little bocket knife and scrapped them off my back windshield and it left the rubber on there... then i wet a rag down and rubben off the rubber... then wet down where it used to be and not even a single scrath on my windshield how i did mine... and the only way you can see it now is if it rains and you see where they used to be

Trees. Takes em' right off.
I was actually able to get a fingernail under one edge of the pinstripe to peel it back. You could use a razor to get under there but unless your decals are very old and weatherworn they should hold together with a consistent pull. As everyone has recommended here, heat is your friend, so use a heatgun to ease the separation. Warm wet cloth & some elbow grease will remove the residue, rubbing compound & wax to take out the differences from fading, and it'll shine like Orion's belt.

gas powered pressure washer, took mine off by accident once.
but with this jeep, i just sanded them off with a disk sander when i repainted, then didn't put any emblems back on.

finally after 3 little bottles of goo gone and very tedious time scraping off the adhesive...we have one very satisfied jeep owner.
first 2 pics with gold pinstripes and gold emblems.
last 2 pics w/out gold pinstripes and the emblems sanded down to the bare silver finish.
