Thanks that is exactly what i was looking for. We need to post that thread over here in the FAQ's. I knew jeep guy's where crafty people.

If anyone has not seen that thread yet. All you basically do is take koetter pins and replace the plastic bracket with the pins and space them out accordingly and you have a working power window. Check out the whole thread for details.

I replaced both sides on my 97 with the Steiger performance kit. $40 a side, and I don-t see them ever breaking again

I followed the write up above. And I now have a working passenger side window again. Very easy fix and I used two cotter pins. Works great. I can do a writeup tomorrow.

Looking forward to seeing it. Window regulators are not my cup of tea. My hands don't fit in the tight spaces that are inside of doors.

Out of curiosity does this also include a power window motor that keeps running once it hits the top (or bottom) until I let go of the switch?

No this mod was to only fix the plastic piece that breaks on the regulator and your window will drop and not go back up. That almost sounds like the switch or motor issue there.

Yeah i didn't think it would be easy either but it's not bad. I am 6'5" and 275 lbs. So i by no means a little guy. It was easy for me to do.
