i wanna do 3 inch coil spacer up front and these in the back to net me around 6 inch lift once i get some spare cash
i have 3.5 with buget boos so if i keep
3.5 a/l +1.5 shackle+ 1.5 tnt ubolt = 6.5 in the rear
and keep my 3.5 coils take out the coil spacer for a 3 in one i should be set?

 

the tnt u bolt eliminators are just as bad as blocks of the same height imo. that combined with your shackle all on a stock pack with an add a leaf will not last very long at all, you will be sitting back at 3" very shortly.

you will need new brake hoses all around
new shocks all around
sye and shaft
all 4 control arms(preferably with drop brackets or longarms)
hd trackbar with mount
steering to work with that lift height

and 3" coil spacers are goofy

 

3" coil spacers are also a very bad idea...

 

thanks i thought the 3in spacer sounded sketchy especialy from the place i was looking cuz they have bolt on soa for a yj????????? bad idea

 

I wouldn't recommend blocks or huge spacers to anyone, but I'm curious as to why you think the UBE's are so bad? I've heard others argue this even though they are not the same thing. The UBE's are not a block that is bolted between the springs and the spring pad. I have more spring in contact with the UBE then I ever did with a stock spring pad. I haven't had any problems with axle wrap and I have been running them for 1 1/2 years. Plus 1 1/2" is not very much at all.

A new spring pack is way better than an add-a-leaf even if you have to wait a little longer to purchase it.

 

the leaf packs could care less whats under them, wether it be a 2" block or 2" ube's what it does is bring the axle further away from the leaf pack making it easier to wrap the spring pack upon acceleration and harsh loading and unloading while offroad. Im not saying ube's are bad, just saying the added height makes them as bad as a block of the same height.

run 4.5" re leaf packs and nothing under them but a 4 degree shim and ruffstuff antiwrap spring perches, and they still wrap like crazy.
