If this was an old small block chevy id say run I t . My balancer started walking (moving back and forth) it moved far enough and stayed eating the belt , I replaced it then.

Not a bad job for the 2.5 where you have plenty of room to play. I haven't done a 4.0 which I assume you have (always post details) but tougher with a lot less room.
Normally I would say that you are not likely to have to replace it again for a long time. But if the rubber pooches out, it's usually time for replacement.
