Default Hard shake

my brother and i were driving my jeep down the freeway and 4th gear started to feel real sluggish and the dash and steering wheel started shaking really hard felt like the whole dash was about to come off. We were going about 45 mph.

i was wondering if anyone might know whats going on.

thanks Jeremy

Go take it back on the freeway, go that same speed and when that shaking happens again, stick your head out the window and look at that front tire...... If you're feeling brave. You'll see what death wobble is.

You don't NEED to see it, but I found it entertaining to look at when it did it to me.

The most common cause is the track bar. Or your alignment being off. Or tires being worn and tire balance being off. Or.... well the list goes on.

Best get down there and look around for anything that looks overly worn/loose.
