Default hammered rustoleum

I just used a can of primer and a can of that hammered stuff in my new bumper. But I bought two cans if the hammered stuff, should I put both in just cause I can or what? It was about 2 coats per can...

How's it look as it sits now? If it looks fine, more coats won't accomplish much. Put it on the shelf for touch-ups.

Will it was late and my stock bumper was already off...so I decided to put it on. Bad idea. going to take it off tomorrow and touch up the paint. Can I just spray more on to it? Or do I need to do some prep work?

Got bumper-colored fingers now?

It seems like a good idea to lightly sand or scuff before applying another coat to give the new layer something to grip, but I'm not a pro painter or anything either, so who knows.

Probably just a Scotch brite pad would be fine.

Anything would work to scuff it up, sand paper or scotchbright pads. Just make sure you get the oils from you hand of or it will not stick well and will either look really bad when you paint it or it will pill off in days.
