Default H4 Headlights

Hi Guys:

I did the headlight relay upgrade this morning on my 89 XJ where I discovered my H4 headlamp housings are really rusty. Although the internal mirror finish seems to be mostly OK, I think it's time to replace the housings which have been in the truck since I did the original H4 conversion back in 1990 (I think it was a 'Lucas' kit).

I'd love to go with high end LED's but those are completely out of my price range. I did some searching and found a post (https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/looking-replace-headlights-231194/) from a few years ago suggesting use of Aotopal brand housings. Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/79-01-JEEP-C...VVq1Rb&vxp=mtr

I found some Hella H4s on Qudratec http://www.quadratec.com/products/97009_02.htm. Any thoughts on whether they'd be worth the extra cost (vs: the Autopal brand)?

Any other suggestions? Thanks for any advice.

PS the original housings are '5x7' right?

Ive heard good things about both as well, I plan on going for those autopals myself in the near future. I've heard from people who have tried the Hellas and the autopals and liked both but tend to get the autopals due to similar quality as Hellas but less costly.

Thanks for the response guys. I'll line up some Autopals for the great price point.

My 89 is a 'Limited' so only 2 headlamps.
