Parked the Jeep (98 ZJ 4.0). 30 minutes later, went to start it and nothing happened, all accessories worked but turning the key didnt engage anything or make any dash idiots come on like during normal starting. I checked the maxi fuses under the hood and saw the Ignition feed 40a fuse was blown, also the ABS pump fuse was blown. I replaced the IGN fuse with the blower motor fuse (same amps) to get to my shop, then replaced both ABS and IGN feed fuse. EVerything is back to normal now except for the gauges only work when the headlight switch is turned on. So, where should my first step be in figuring out the problem? I cleaned battery terminals, checked grounds, checked fuses. Any ideas?
