I have a '99 XJ and want guages instead of the dummy lights. Will a guauge cluster from a '94 XJ swap in and the guages function properly, or would I be better off getting an A pillar pod for guages? Of course I'm trying to keep costs low and not waste time and materials trying to rig something up that may or may not work correctly. Thanks for the help!

 

No you will need one from a later model XJ to work properly in your 99 and should be easy to find.
