guage cluster stopped working HELP
Whats up guys, about a month ago i posted a thread about someone crossing the jumper cables while i tried to jump them and i had alot of issues getting the jeep to run again after that. since then ive got it running fine again after getting a new #6 fuel injector, new computer, new battery/cables etc...
Welll after i got it running i realized that NOTHING on my guage cluster worked any more even the odometer and trip guage are stuck where they were at and all the other guage needles kind of just wandered where they wanted to and stopped in place. i used the search function here and couldnt find anyone with my exact scenario.
Has anyone here had theyre guage cluster stop working and got it to work again?? does it run on a fuse or is it wired straight to the computer? im getting pretty tired of having to guess how much gas is in my tank and i hate not seeing what temp its running at especially in this heat.
its a 1994 SE with the cluster that has the rpm guage and everything on it. thanks for your help

Isn't there a voltage regulator device plugged into the backside of the cluster's printed circuit board - or is that older than '94 tech? I think those are sensitive to reverse polarity (i.e., fried).
Reach (or look, if you're that flexible) up under the back of the cluster. Somewhere near dead center, feel for a square device about the size of a relay. If you find it then pull it out of it's socket and then find a replacement.
