The "motor fuse box" is called the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and the main positive going from the battery goes through a fusible link (a special connection that is supposed to melt and open the circuit should it encounter a short to ground). It is responsible for feeding the main battery positive to most, if not all, of the items in the PDC.
