Default grinding sound when tight right turn

so i just had my steering box and the left side upper and lower ball joints replaced. and on the way home i noticed that when i turn right at lower speed i get a grinding sound and feel till i turn it back straight. and when i noticed the steering felt a lil spongy, the reservoir has a lot of tiny bubbles. now i plan on taking it back to the shop that did the work tomorrow and was wanting some info on what the problem might be. any advice would be grateful.

2000 xj 165k all original except for the dents from when a tree fell on it.

sounds like your passenger side u joint for the drive shaft might be going bad. Look to see if there is large amounts of powdery rust surrounding it. I would also take a look at your wheel bearings as well. From what i have found those two tend to make the sound that you are describing.
