Hey all, just got off the highway in my 01 xj and I notice at 50/60/70mph when I very slightly touch the accelerator and for a second or two when I let off of it there's a grinding noise or more like a grumble I can feel the vibration slightly in the jeep. It only last for a second or twoand once I press on the gas more than just slightly it goes away and rides like a dream. Has anyone experienced this? My xj has a lot of lift. 6 1/2" with 2" spacers up front. Just like how I bought it, could it be a driveshaft. Do I need a slip yoke eliminator? I'm not sure what that does in my old jeep (jk) once you get past 3" lift your replacing driveshafts. So I'm just not sure and would appreciate some input from the pros.

Just reread my post and I believe I may be downplaying ot a bit. Its a pretty nasty grinding noise and very obviously something not normal

Any chance you cracked your exhaust manifold?

I don't think so. I mean I guess anythings possible its up at a reputable jeep dealership I have a longstanding relationship for inspection to get my tags. I know they'll give it to me straight what's goin on but Im just looking to see if anyone else has had something likethis happen
