Will a grille from a 95 go on a 96? I bought a chrome grille from a guy and he said it was on his 95 but its like 2" shorter in height than mine and i was told it was a 97-01 grill but he said it was on his 95

 

If it's from a 95 then it will fit.

 

there are some slight differences over the years, but nothing too drastic. usually just the way the tabs overlap the trim rings.

post a pic, that'll answer your question whether it's from a 96 or 97.

That is not a 95 grill.It kinda looks like a Grand grill.

I would say a 99 and up Grand Cherokee (WJ)grill.

It's an XJ grill. As caged mentioned there are two style.. with the header panel trim included and non.

There were also variances in slot count as well.

I think thats an 84-89 grill.

im pretty sure its not a GC grille at all
