I know there is countless posts mentioning putting Grand Cherokee springs in the Cherokee but many of them can't agree on what it will yield.
My predicament... I have 140k mile stock XJ springs and 1.5" spacers on the front right now. 1.5" shackles and NEW springs in the back. The back is at least 2" higher then the front.
I know the coils are probably sagging. I bought ZJ V8 springs from an auto parts store to replace them with. I am trying to figure out with the stock isolator how much will it lift the front. If I add the 1.5" spacer how much will it net? I want to try to match the front with the back but don't want to do the job twice if I either needed the spacer and left it out or didnt' need it and have to take it out...
Here are some of the posts that contain some info but to be honest the contradictory info is confusing...
Any help anyone can provide will save me time and strain trying to figure this stupid thing out...

So I lifted my xj a couple weeks ago on the Budget lift. Went with the upcountry v8 grand cherokee springs with 2 spring isolators on each side and a combination of XJ main, s-10 main, xj, s-10, xj springs in the rear. I was shooting for around 3" all the way around. Hit it spot on in the front but the back is about an 1" taller. Doesn't look too awkward but definitely noticeable. Im thinking about just keeping it that way so when I build my rear bumper and possible rear tire carrier or when hauling the camping gear or xtra people it will have the extra support. Ideas? Sorry about the lifted pic but the only camera i have is on my iphone and don't know how to zoom!

At first I had the zj springs on the front of mine and 3" blocks in the rear and the rear was definitely higher so id say somewhere around 1.5-2" of lift. the only problem I had with them was that I dont know if the diameter is larger with the zj springs or what but they wouldnt sit right in the perch and they ended up wrapping around the perch.

The springs I picked up look a bit different. They look to have a progressive winding... I guess they are the variable rate springs.
Part Number: FCS782V
Weight: 27.0 lbs
Warranty: 1 YR
Quantity Per Box: 2 Constant or Variable Rate:
Variable Bar Size: 0.58 in.
Free Height: 18.40 in.
REF Type of Coil End 1:
Pig tail -35
Type of Coil End 2: Tangential
Actually that write up was nice because if I can use the trick to get the springs out fast it will make the job a TON easier! I will try that out and see. I will post the results.
thanks!

Vehicle will determine how much lift you get as well. A heavy front bumper and a winch will drop it a good 1.5-2". My rear sits higher till I load all my gear for a ride and then it's level.

The GC springs with stock isolators yielded the SAME height as the old cherokee springs with 1.5" spacer. Depending on how bad the sag of the old spring I would say you gain from .5" to 1" of lift with a ZJ V8 spring swap.
I ended up using the ZJ springs with the 1.5" spacer to achieve the lift I needed.
