What year chryco 8.25 from a grand Cherokee will fit my 1994 XJ. I want to find one with disc brakes already on it...Thx...Tj

well w/ the disks already on it your gonna be lookin at the 1996-1998 grand cherokees w/ the V8, but its gonna have spring buckets and control arm brackets so your gonna have to weld on some spring perches and re-locate the shock mounts.

ZJ's only came with the D35. I'm pretty sure the WJ's have only had D35s or D44a rear ends.

you know you might be right, i pulled the rear disk's off a 97 ZJ last week and didnt even think to look at the rear diff, i know it was a c-clip axle but cant remember what the housing looked like...i dont know why i thought it was a chryco 8.25" when i had to die grind the backing plates to fit on my 8.25" LSD....MAAANNNN do i feel DUMB ..............

Where does it say that it was wanted now?? It was available from the factory in the 2nd generation of ZJ(96-98).
