Got "Ron" some new shoes *Pics*
31/10.5R15 BFG K02
Reviews were good. Price was great. under $200 CDN (~145 USD) installed and balanced.
Only driven about 50 km so far, and fastest I could hit was about 90 km/h because of traffic, but they feel much better than the really old winter tires I had on there before.
Road noise is barely audible. Also, it seems the driveline vibe that I was chasing was out of balance tires. Feels great now.
Only issue, I think the steel rims I am using are negative backspacing. They are rubbing on the LCA when I turn hard. I know switching to the WJ LCA will net me some space, and Ill have to maybe change the wheels to stock or better backspace.
Question is. WJ LCA vs custom made "rod" style, which should also save me some space, and increase strength.

That's an awesome price. I paid a bit more than that a few months ago for my KO2's.
I also get some rubbing at full lock running in stock alloys for my 92. At some point I'm going to have my mechanic give me some options on how to fix it.

Them KO2s look nice, and really can't go wrong with BFG.
Wheels with different backspacing would solve the issue of LCA rubbing, but then you may be forced to trim metal or at least remove the flares due to rubbing on other areas. WJ may be an option, but from what I've seen they require slight modification. Rustys makes some LCA that clear stock backspacing, but I'm not sure if you are decided on lift height yet. I have seen a write up on using a nut and bolt as new steering stops, I don't remember specifics but it's been done.

before spending any money on new arms.. just adjust the stop.
either put a couple washers behind the welded nut or get a new nut and bolt and adjust to where the tires no longer hit..
i put a new nut and bolt in but it was only a hair longer then what was in there originally.. it barley lost any turning radius.. even in the tight trails i don't notice it..
At the very least it will get ya by for a while.

I think I'll do a combination of the above recommendations. I like that my wheels sit deep, so I dont have to cut/remove anything for now. This is my DD and I like the way the flares look.
WJ arms, and adjusting the stop if I need to I guess.
Also pretty interested in the LCA Drop brackets. Has anyone fab'd their own? I hate paying for things I can make...
