It was a budget build. Did the thunderbird coils off a v6 model. Just got it done this morning. So far it rides great...except... VIBES!!!
so i was wondering if someone has a link to a DIY transfer case drop, I may take a trip out to see if i can find a cherokee with the ax15 to take the crossmember. And also can someone recommend a track bar? I don't want to drill a new hole. I've got about 4-5 inches out of this lift. we are thinking closer to 4. Does someone have stock measurements?

Tell me more about this lift. I would love to lift mine, but with the economy being what it is, there isn't much money to throw at the Jeep and still feed the kids.Originally Posted by rklettke

a tcase drop may not fix your issues being that your at 4-5inches combined with being a late model cherokee, unfortunately the only fix for you late model guys is usually an SYE
how ever if you wanna try the tcase drop anyway it can be done for bout $10 in square/rectangular tube[1-2"] and some longer bolts
- take your square/rectangular tubing and cut it to length, use the crossmember as a guide for length
- place tube on crossmember and mark where the holes need to be drilled
- get bolts that match the OEM studs but add the extra length of your drop
- slap on a coat of paint
- crack open a cold one and pat yourself on the back cause ya just saved money by doing it yourself.

And if you're a good welder weld caps on the ends of the tubing. Keep the rust and mud on the outside of it.Originally Posted by mud-dog27

What dimension? and how thick do the sidewalls need to be? I may as well try it for a temporary fix. I'm thinking this soon: Originally Posted by mud-dog27

Anything particularly bad about this kit? Otherwise it's twice as expensive and I would assume it would take longer to get?
