Default Good riding 3" lift..?

Trying to decide how to lift my '91 XJ I just bought. I want to go 3-3.5" and want something with a good ride and decent handling (not so soft that there's a ton of body roll, I drive on a lot of windy roads).

I have some JK shocks (the standard ones, not from a Rubicon) and I was thinking about pairing them with some Rusty's springs. The JK shocks are hydro shocks so they are not super stiff and I have heard the Rusty's springs aren't as stiff as say, Rough Country. But I've heard good things about the Zone lifts too so I was also looking at their 3" kit.

I know full leaf packs will ride better than AAL's so if I can fit them in the budget I will, but they may be more than I can spend right now. If I have to run the add-a-leaf, would pairing a 2" AAL with a 1" shackle ride better than a 3" AAL alone?

Also it seems like most people remove the rear sway bar when lifting, but I would kind of like to retain mine to help control body roll. Does anyone make an extended end link that will work with the XJ rear sway and a 3" lift?
