I put prolly at the most on my last one about 8k and then sold it and working like a charm. But if it fails I guesss that's where the warranty comes in hand

Lets say the factory rebuilds 100,000 water pumps a year, Im sure its more, but lets stick with this number. With a failure rate of just 1/2% there are 500 pumps that are floating around out there that are bad.

Put another way, "its like winning the Lottery....in reverse!"

Sorry man

Good way to put it, I'm guessing its still on warranty unless you got the cheapo one? Go warranty it and 45 minutes later you will have a good one

Duralast is also a new pump where Valuecraft is a reman.... I've got AZ wp's on 3 of my Cherokees, the oldest having about 45,000 on it with never an issue. Didn't see many come back across the counter either during my time there (5 years or so).

Cool, I was assistant at 2468 and managed at 1260... The rest of the time I traveled around fixing planagrams at problem stores and doing store set-ups & inventories. I'm sure we know many of the same people. I don't "technically" still work for the company but I do run a little side business doing the floors for the stores in my (well really it's Craigs [the DM] ) district to help fund my builds.

Gimme an A! Gimme a U! etc.... LOL

Was Part of Charlotte, Roanoke, and Raleigh region/district. Drove 35,000 miles in 15 months. Never went more than 2 hours 1 way to my farthest store.
Got tired of the driving, so I started looking. Roanoke found out and canned me on a trumped up Loss prevention issue. I did not catch my Mgrs wife making the deposit 1 time per week. NO MONEY WAS EVER MISSING. When they took the car, I was told to get my personal belongings and they would drive me home. I grabbed my cell phone, tossed the keys to them and walked around the corner to my wife's office. Gone on a Thursday and started work on Monday! Had I been working for North Carolina at the time, I would have received a slap on the wrist. Instead I worked for a guy that had brain damage, Im not kidding he had a brain tumor and had NO short term memory at all.

Sad, but that doesn't surprise me....

We may have met at one time or another. I worked laurinburg, spring lake, and Fayetteville quite often. 454 was our hub when I was at 2468 (Roberts ave. in Lumberton) I remember John Cooper running it then and now a friend of mine (Alvin R) manages it. When I was there, Andy (Gilbert's son from L&P) was running Fayetteville I believe (or maybe it was Spring lake). It's been 6-7 years since I was an employee, I still do the floors in the first 4 stores you listed though.
