You will be able to tell alot just from driving it. Make sure it doesn't wabble and that it drives strait at hwy speeds! I just bought a 99 an I love it!! Best axle combo available! And no head cracking problems that came with the 00 and 01s! Just look under it and make sure there isn't alot of rust on th subframe. After driving it you will 95% know the condition of it!
