I have my cherokee lifted 3 inches with blocks and coils, fenders are trimmed a bit so 32s will clear. I want to get some more clearance so i was gonna go 2inch coil spacers and 2 inch shackles. will i need adj. track bar or beefy tie rod ends to keep from getting death wobbles?

more importantly, you are going to need new leaf spring if you pair 3" blocks with 2" shackles.
but yes, anything over 3" you should need new control arms, tracbar, brakelines, shocks...

ive heard mixed reviews about blocks. its SEEMS that a little off roading wont risk damage, but if you are planning on getting more aggressive (keeping in mind that an easy day of wheeling can turn rough pretty quick
). the issue is the leafs tendency for both basic and tortional (twisting) flex is increased... there was an article in the last JP magazine about the ford raptor: they loved it and only knocked the blocked rear sus., calling it it only weak spot... imo... please feel free to comment or correct any claims i lay, as they are simply regurgitated! thanks.

I have an 01...I use a 3" block with a 1" shackle. About 4" of lift. Im out in California, I've ran it up in big bear on John bull trail, gold mountain, white mtn, and Holcomb valley, plus a few trips to truckhaven. All of these places are pretty tough, but diffent terrain. My blocks and shackles held up great, granted I'm not a crazy throttle junkie on the rocks, I do put my xj to the test. So far, no problems, I just make sure to check the torque on the u bolts before I head out...my .02

your lucky to have such an array of kickass terain to play on... here in vt, its a little limited. i have found a couple of good old logging trails, but still, its all very tight terrain for the most part, no open dunes and the like.. oh well, just more incentive to get out and do some xcountry exploring
