Default Going to be doing a cooling sys. O/H plus AC delete..

Whats up guys,
Im going to be changing out my cooling system on the 1997 xj , 213,00 miles.. So Im going with new rad, water pump ( high flow? ) thermo and fan clutch ( stocker ) Im also deleting my AC, since I never use it and I dont even think it works.

My questions are

1. The AC delete, is there a thread on this? I cant seem to locate a thread telling me what goes and what doesnt go.

2. Im thinking about relocating my Alt up higher, in place of the AC compressor too. Does this change the belt lenth?

3. The radiator swap is an easy deal, right?

4. Anything else I should know/do before hand?

5. Whats this 2 core versus 3 core stuff? Wouldn't 3 core be better since the coolant stays longer in the rad to dissipate the heat?

6. I was going to go with the CSF 2671, its for an 00 but Ive seen people said it works with older jeeps too. Anyone run something else?

Just a regular AC delete you need a dummy pulley to take its spot. People use wrangler acc brackets to move the alt up, Thought about doing this once but I just carry a spare alt from a part out instead.

dont forget hoses and flushing out the heater core and block.

And I think I might just leave my AC compressor there for now but get rid of everything else, including the condenser. I can do the relocation later and or turn it into OBA.

I used some rad flush stuff that you run in the system just before you drain it. Then run water and air thru both sides of the heater core to get all the crap out. The block has drain plugs near the motor mounts, which are like 5/16 square female, its stupid that a 3/8 ratchet wont work. Or just run a bunch or water thru the upper rad hose and wait till the water coming out the bottom is clean.

Best way to flush head/block is with both the t-stat cover and water pump removed.....stick the garden hose in the t-stat hole and flush out thru the water pump hole. Don't even think about puting the new rad in until after everything is flushed, including the heater core.
