Bumping a rather old thread. I've got a Renix era motor, and just removed the A/C compressor this afternoon. By the way the belt routing is on this old school 4.0L, I'm thinking I can get away with a shorter belt instead of needing the kit. Just seeing if any other RENIX guys have tried this route yet?
