I bought my RC 4.5" lift kit and when i was doing my RC3" lift i attempted to do a T-case drop. My problem was that when i put the two nuts back to back to get the stud out, i thought that i was going to strip it. I have been spraying them with this stuff to loosen nuts for the last two weeks. I guess my question is... if this fails me again what other way can i get the stud out? I really need to do this drop in until i get my SYE!
Thanks,
-Brian

dremel
pipe wrench
heat (not required but helps)
Remove the nuts. It doesn't always work. I stripped them easily when i tried that. Take the dremel and shave two flat surfaces on the side of the stud. This gives the pipe wrench something to grab and also heats up the for ease of removal. Take the pipe wrench and twist that S-O-B out.

Mine were rusted bad and they came right out.

Worst case scenario is they twist off. Then just drill the broken stud out and retap the threads. It ain't the end of the world either way. Try the pipe wrench first (with heat) and if it twists off then you have a backup plan.

Everything went smooth with my lift, I got the TC drop on easily. One problem though, My lift gave me 6.5" in the front and 5" in the back. Should i call RC and ask them why my coils gave me so much lift or wait to see if they settle a little?
