Well i might be getting my friends 30" tires off his 03 tj for like 150$ but i'm riding stock height atm. So i'm wondering how much trimming would be needed in order for me to have them fit?

I ran those tires with mine stock with no problem. Just dont go over anything crazy and you may just rub a little on your LCA

You can get by with spacers up front and an AAL or a shackle in the rear.

You will be able to fit those 30 inch tires on your stock XJ but you might some little rubbing on your suspension in a tight turn...

So take it easy around turns and i should be fine?
I'll try to get the exact details of the tires tomorrow and hopefully pick them up next weekend

30's should not rub the CA's at all. At the most the fender wells. If you add a 2" budget list you will not move the tires any father away from the CA"s then they are at stock. I ran 30's and never had them touch the CA's on stock rims.

At full turn mine rubs just a little nothing bad. Then again the backspacing on the rim will make it happen or not.

Ow. Sorry to hear about the wreck. Hope you're ok. If you're getting another XJ with eh insurance $$, 30x9.50 AT's will fit stock. I did it with mine on ZJ Canyons and I never had any rub.

Surprisingly i'm alright. I went to the hospital because my arm was killing me, but it's just bruised up so i have to wear a sling.

Yeah the insurance company should be giving me an estimate for my jeep today, so we'll see how everything goes
